A 3D typographic maquette for Yonge & Dundas Square.
Taking inspiration from my own experiences at Yonge & Dundas Square, this 3D typographic maquette aims to use the energy and functions of the space to enhance the experience of locals and tourists that are drawn to this major downtown intersection. YONGE and DUNDAS align respectively to their streets, intersecting by the ampersand, acting as a wayfinding device. The structure also acts as a tourist attraction, allowing you to squeeze between the letters for an iconic selfie. Climbing atop you’ll find a great spot to watch a concert on the stage nearby without going to the mosh pit.
